Outages

Current and upcoming outages are listed and shown on the map below.
Click on the outage list or map for more details.

The power interruptions detailed below will allow authorised contractors to carry out essential work on the electricity network. While best efforts have been made to estimate the time required for this work, unforeseen events may cause the finish time to vary. We assure you that the power will be restored as quickly as possible.

If your power is off and it is not shown on this page, you should check your switchboard to see if there are any blown fuses or circuit breakers that have operated. If everything looks okay, please call us on 0800 508 100 to report the problem.

Network Tasman will not charge you if a fault responder is sent to investigate a fault that is called in by you unless it is a repeat call out for a problem that we have already advised you about, for example, if you repeatedly call us out for blown fuses due to overloading.

For your protection, treat all lines, electrical installations and wiring as live during the shutdown. Please turn off stoves and heaters and all sensitive electronic equipment before the shutdown, and ensure that they remain turned off until the power is restored.

If a member of your household is medically dependent on electricity, you should register their dependence with your electricity retailer.

If you are told that a fault responder is being dispatched to your property, you should make sure that someone is home when they turn up otherwise they won't re-liven the supply to your property.
